Terms of Sale

Thanks for shopping at the Mayhawk Online Store. We want to make sure you have a rewarding experience after purchasing our products and we are here to help. If you cannot find the information you need below please use the contact form and we will try to help as quick as we can.

By placing an order or making a purchase on the Site at the Mayhawk Online Store, you agree to these Terms of Sale (“Terms of Sale”), along with Mayhawk’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Should you wish to Cancel or Return any Products, you may do so in accordance with our Returns & Cancellation Policies within these Terms of Sale. These policies are in addition to your consumer rights to return defective products.

Mayhawk reserves the right to change prices for products at the Mayhawk online Store at any time, and to correct inadvertent pricing errors.

Product Availability and Limitations

Given the popularity and supply constraints of some products, Mayhawk may have to limit the number available for purchase and reserves the right to change the number at any time, even after you place an order. In the event we cannot supply a product you ordered, Mayhawk will cancel the order and refund your purchase price.

Cancellation Policy

We begin processing orders placed at our online store almost immediately. If your order has not yet been dispatched, you can cancel your order by emailing our Customer Service on the Contact Us page. If successful, they will send you an email and the cancellation will be free of charge.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you want to cancel as we try to get your order to you as quickly as we can. If cancellation is not possible, the product(s) will be delivered to you and may be returned in accordance with the procedure set out below. 

If your order has already been picked up from us and is out for delivery, (already in transit) please wait for your order to be delivered before initiating the return by contacting Mayhawk Store Customer Service. Please note that you may be liable for a return transportation charge. Any returns after delivery are subject to our returns policy.

Returns Policy

We believe you will be thrilled with the products you purchase from Mayhawk. In the unlikely event a product is not what you expected, you can return or exchange it.

You are certainly entitled to return products delivered to you in the event that they are defective or otherwise not in conformity with your order when you received them.

Please initiate a return within 14 days of the date you receive the product(s) from Mayhawk. The product(s) must be in their original condition and packaging and after approval we’ll exchange it or offer a refund based on the payment method.

Where you return a Product we will issue you with a full refund but you will need to return the Product at your own cost (if you have already received the Product). If the return is due to receiving defective products then this return postage cost will be factored into the refund amount.

Returned products may require inspection. If approved, a refund or exchange will be issued within 10 business days. Therefore the products must be returned in the same, unopened condition they were delivered to you in.

If the products you receive are defective, as a result of damage in transit or through incorrect manufacture, please contact us immediately to discuss the issue.

Where you have paid any duties or taxes directly to the relevant authorities on the importation of the Product you wish to return, Mayhawk shall have no liability in relation to any claim for a refund of such duties or taxes from the authorities or whether or not such a refund is possible.

1. Please note that you will not be entitled to cancel or return certain Products. This does not affect your statutory rights.

1.1 For hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns for opened, unsealed, food items. Unless the product is defective and warrants investigation.

1.2 Gift cards are not eligible for return or refund.

Terms of Sale; Purchase Policy

Purchase of products & services. Additional terms and conditions may apply to purchases of goods (“Products”) or services (“Services”) and to specific portions or features of the Site, including contests, promotions or other similar features, all of which terms are made as part of the official Terms of Use Policy, which this policy is part of, by this reference.

Mayhawk may make changes to any Products or Services offered on the Site and on the online Store, or to the applicable prices for any such Products or Services, at any time, without notice. The materials on the Site with respect to Products and Services may be out of date, and Mayhawk makes no commitment to update the materials on the Site with respect to such Products and Services.

Purchase of Products

If you are placing a pre-order for Products which are available to pre-order on the Site, the following terms may be superseded by or may apply in addition to specific terms applicable to such Products.

When you submit an order we will send you an email acknowledging receipt of your order, this is not an acceptance of your order. Our acceptance of the order takes place when the Products are shipped and are on their way to being delivered to you, and you receive a delivery status email. More details on this are below.

1. Acceptance of orders
1.1 All information on the Site is an invitation to treat only and is not an offer or unilateral contract. You agree that your order is an offer to purchase the products or services listed in your order (“Products” or “Services“) from us. All orders submitted by you are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order in our discretion for any reason whatsoever without liability to you, unless we are not permitted to do so under statutory law.

1.2 After submitting an order to us, we will send you an order acknowledgement email with your order number and details of the Products or Services you have ordered from us. Please note that this email is an acknowledgement that we have received your order and is not an acceptance of your order. Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract of sale of the Products or Services between us and you will not take place unless and until (i) we have sent you an email confirming that the Products or Services have been dispatched or (ii) in the event that you have elected to collect the Products from a Mayhawk store (where the service is available), we have sent you an email confirming that the Products have been dispatched to the specified Mayhawk store (“DISPATCH CONFIRMATION”) or are otherwise ready for collection.

1.3 In the event prolonged inactivity causes your connection to the Site to fail, your selection of goods may be lost. In such case, you will be required to re-enter your selection. Please note that items in your shopping bag and on your wishlist are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.

1.4 Before you submit your order, you will be given the opportunity to review your selection, check the total price of your order and correct any input errors.

1.5 Item availability, prices and delivery options may vary depending on the country of the delivery address.

1.6 Variations in both the manufacturing processes we use and also the display properties of the computer hardware you use to view the Site may mean that the colours and designs of the Products displayed on the Site and the Products delivered to you may differ in appearance in minor respects. We are not responsible for any such differences.

Our Right to Cancel

Mayhawk may refuse or cancel any order or limit order quantity. Fulfilment of all orders on the Site is subject to availability. We explicitly reserve the right not to accept your order for any reason. 

Once we receive your online or phone order, we’ll provide you with an email order confirmation. Your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify acceptance of your order or constitute confirmation of our offer to sell; we are simply confirming that we received your order. The Mayhawk Online Store and Site reserves the right to accept or decline your order at any time for any reason, including the right to refuse or cancel your order if we suspect you are purchasing products for resale. If Mayhawk cancels an order after payment, Mayhawk will refund it.

Data Check

Mayhawk may also require additional qualifying information prior to processing any order. When you send us your order, we may run some checks on it before it is fulfilled. These checks may include verifying your address and checking for fraud.  We run partly automated checks on all purchases to filter out unusual or suspect transactions, or transactions which can be identified as susceptible to fraud. Suspected fraud on the Site will be investigated and if necessary prosecuted.

Gift Cards

Mayhawk Gift Cards may only be used for purchases in the United Kingdom at Mayhawk Retail Stores and online at our Website for products delivered to UK addresses.

Mayhawk Gift Cards are not eligible for returns or refunds.

Mayhawk Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash (including any unused balance), without prejudice to any applicable statutory right to a refund in case of cancellation of an online contract or nonconformity.

Mayhawk is not responsible for lost or stolen Mayhawk Gift Cards or use without your permission. The Gift Cards are not for resale. Receipt of a Mayhawk Gift Card does not automatically guarantee purchase of any item. Mayhawk Gift Cards have no expiration date, however, Mayhawk may amend eligible purchases and locations for redemption with appropriate and reasonable notice by updating these Mayhawk Gift Card terms and conditions.
