We grow our own chilli peppers and source a criollo and forastero cacao for this chocolate from good relationships with suppliers in Madagascar, Columbia and Ecuador.

The Story of this Bar

Our Nine-Spiced chocolate bar is one of our most popular chocolates, combining a warming natural spice blend with a hint of smoked chilli, and a citrusy orange burst.
Over the years we have continued to develop this chocolate, by experimenting with new combinations, and this latest version, crafted with rich oat-milk chocolate, has been further refined using our innovative “Absolute” method.
This is where we infuse organic olive with natural spices, vanilla, and orange zest, and then, when added to the cacao nibs before stone-grinding, to mature, it creates a deeply aromatic and harmonious flavour profile in the creamy oat-milk chocolate.
We grow our own chilli peppers in our greenhouse and we use these in the absolute olive oil.
