We specifically source a single origin criollo cacao for this chocolate. The cacao is both ethically and sustainably sourced from good relationships with suppliers in Madagascar, Venezuela and Peru. This means the criollo can vary in subtle ways in terms of taste and colour from batch to batch.

The Midnight Seventy bar is made with just two ingredients, beautiful cacao beans and cane sugar… and it showcases the essence of what an elegant dark chocolate should be.
What we wanted to make was a 70% chocolate bar that was truly surprising whilst striping away any and all complexity – making a naturally “beautiful chocolate by design”.
We crafted this dark chocolate to balance the sweetness of the cane sugar with the rich darkness of the cacao, using precision and exceptional control over its making. Where unique roasting and conching profiles were developed specifically for this bar.
And with just two natural ingredients this bar represents the pinnacle of our craft. It is both simple, yet extraordinarily creative, embodying our passion for a pure and elegant chocolate.
