Fresh blueberries are lacto-fermented in Welsh sea-salt and criollo cacao is sourced for this chocolate. Note: Bar Eight is made in small batches and it changes depending on the fresh seasonal fruit chosen. The cacao comes from good relationships with suppliers in Madagascar and Peru.

The Story of this Bar
Magical chocolate. Made with simplicity and creativity.
Our research for this chocolate bar started with the question: How can you make an exciting and modern “Fruit & Nut” classic?
This is where we get excited, we love learning the craft needed to make a new and elegant chocolate bar that is classic in many ways, but creatively made with all natural and simple ingredients.
Choosing to make an ultra smooth almond butter dark chocolate (with our plum dark chocolate ‘Bar Seven’ as the base) was the starting point.
Then to complement this chocolate we chose to work with a surprising ingredient… introducing a fresh organic fruit element to the bar through our in-house method of lacto-fermentation. Bar Eight is made in small batches and we experiment with different types of seasonal fruit, which is why it is constantly changing with each new batch.
The results were everything we were hoping for. Beautiful Chocolate, by Design… Indeed.
